Dave, I pulled the following from Doug Noland to remind you there are several hardworking & credible analysts who make your dark side appear downright cheerful!
"The highly exposed GSEs, mortgage insurers, and leveraged speculators are positioned poorly to withstand a bust in prime mortgages."
Without exhibiting too much of my (not to be misconstrued as a blissful) disposition, this is just what I believe we're likely to see in CA in the next 18 months.

I needed a bit of slightly more positive encouragement. Likely my spirits will return come fall, when cooler temperatures and fall camping/hiking will give my soul a boost.


Hey I am sick of Bush administration too, but it seems like we will have another 4 years of the same thing. The gap between McCain and Obama has been closed according to latest polls, things are not looking good.
