I hadn't seen the Roach piece, thanks. For me, strong communicators (other than actors) are leaders. I'd like to see PK continue doing as he is (sharing more depth), but FOCUSING on Econ issues. At this late date I can't imagine anyone who hasn't formed a firm opinion of Bush. Yet, I know a LOT of people who are clueless about economics & get glassy-eyed when the word's mentioned. PK has an extremely rare ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
My guess is, in the next ten years some pretty serious macroecon. decisions WILL be made. Wouldn't it be exciting if people were conversant enough to laugh when our normal course of political charlatans START preaching? Have a great day.
Here's a link I bumped into at the unofficial pk site. http://www.smirkingchimp.com/node/3548

Thnaks Bailey.

I used to read The Smirking Chimp.com religiously, but have not paid enough attention to it lately -- or maybe I pay the right amount of attention to it now, allowing time for other things. Who knows?

And I used to like to read Stirling Newberry. That oversight I need to correct. Thanks again for the link...

Here's a link to Newberry's blog at Smirking Chimp.
